Meet the Team

Founding the company back in 2006, Greg has since grown Epic IT into a thriving business but not without the help of his dedicated and hardworking team. With over 21 years’ experience in ICT, Greg is not only ITIL certified but also holds a Diploma in Computer Systems Engineering and a Degree in Computer Science.

Greg these days is a little less “on the tools” and has been superseded by a very talented service and senior leadership team. A team that clearly share his passion in innovation, service excellence and attention to detail. Greg now focuses much less on the operations and instead more on forging great relationships, partnerships and pursuing new business opportunities for Epic IT.

Away from the office, Greg loves spending time with his family in the great outdoors loving caravaning where he can often be found next to, in or on the water. Or he is watching the footy.

Zheng joined the VCIO / account management team towards the end of 2021. Having worked previously at another Perth managed IT services company in business development, Zheng brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the Epic IT team. Drawing on this experience, Zheng delivers VCIO, account management and IT strategy services to our customers and is also playing a key role in helping develop next generation managed IT service offerings. Solutions that will provide more secure and collaborative systems to our customers and help streamline internal Epic IT processes.

Zheng holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Curtin University and over 13 years of BDM experience. He loves his sports and fantasy leagues, which resonates well with the rest of the team. In between all of this, he is helping raise a beautiful family and still finds time as an active crypto currency trader.

Matt joined the team in 2013 as a service consultant and has quickly advanced his career at Epic IT. Matt is as focused and hardworking as they come with a strong passion for service delivery. Matt holds numerous Microsoft certifications and is also ITIL Service certified.

These days Matt has moved more into a service management role and is currently the team leader and service coordinator of the group. Since Matt moved into this role, Epic IT has enjoyed an all-time high customer feedback rating which is a testament to his hard work in this area.

As a self-confessed gym junkie and Aussie rules footy fanatic, Matt is very committed to his sports and health which requires a great deal of discipline and dedication. It is this very same attitude Matt brings into the office each day, along with 20kgs of body building supplements.

Cris joined the team in 2024. Cris is a talented account manager, having worked for a number of managed service providers (MSP’s) over many years, and brings a wealth of knowledge to our operations at Epic IT. Cris has a strong client focus and operates as if he works for the client when it comes to recommending technology solutions for business improvement. Cris has worked with a variety of industries which range from corporate, mining, local government and education, and has a good understanding of IT trends and technologies in those industries.

When Cris isnt helping his customers kick goals, he spends time with his young family. On the topic of kicking goals, this avid Fremantle Dockers supporter loves his footy and can sometimes be seen sneaking in a quick online gaming session between AFL matches.

Shane is the senior technical account manager for Epic IT. As he is also very technical, he spends a lot of his time on solution design and RnD putting him in a position where he can always recommend the most optimal solutions for our customers. Shane’s addition to the team brings a wealth of experience and knowledge having helped establish and run a successful Managed Service Provider business in Sydney, NSW.

Shane loves his sports, particularly Basketball and while he spends his up time frequently above the hoop his down time is more reserved for taking trips with his young family to Margaret River to escape IT even if its just for short moment.

David joined the team in 2015 as an experienced service engineer. Having spent many years in both remote and onsite service desk roles, David brings plenty of knowledge to our team. In recent times David has started wearing multiple hats for Epic IT working within technical sales although you can still catch him on the phone driving a cloud migration or providing calm and collected support.

David is not only as cool as a cucumber when it comes to ICT support, he actually grows his own at home! As a keen citrus and vegetable cultivator you can often find him nurturing his prized possessions in his backyard together with his wife and new born. David is also very passionate about his DC and Marvel. A true superman with many secret talents and interests.

Having joined the team in 2024, Karen brings a ton of experience to our team having worked with mulitple technology and managed IT service providers around Perth. Karen’s role involves the end to end procurement lifecycle of quoting, ordering and processing client equipment, subscriptions and software. Karen also helps with light marketing and accounts functions of the business and does an amazing job supporting the daily operations of Epic IT.

Karen has been known to holiday in Bali a couple of times a year with her family and friends. But when she isn’t in Bali, she is busy being a mother to a teenager and partner to a busy local chef.

Kelly will be the friendly voice you may find yourself talking to and is here to not only help the team but also assist you with any administration needs or enquiries you may have. Kelly has extensive experience in managing people and complex HR issues.

Outside the office, Kelly makes the most of her opportunity and spends the time with her family. As an appreciator of the great outdoors, she can be frequently found in a caravan exploring our beautiful state of Western Australia.

Having completed multiple degrees and certifications, Aaron is the brains behind a lot of the innovation and integration oozing out of our design engine room at Epic IT. He can integrate into anything and has been driving and directing the development of many of our Microsoft 365 and Azure data security systems. Aaron these days spends less time fixing and more time creating however Aaron is still known to provide top notch support when duty calls.

When not creating things, Aaron likes to remain informed and updated on world events.

Joining Epic IT in 2011, Luke’s broad skill set is highly complemented by his advanced networking experience. He is our longest serving staff member and there is nothing Luke cannot accomplish to achieve a secure and reliable network. Luke has also largely been involved in the design and commissioning of our unique cloud infrastructure and integrations, as well as providing general support to all of our clients.

In his spare time Luke loves his photography as it is another thing he very good at. So good, he has had his work published in various magazines. He even took his own photo here.

Jake joined our talented projects team towards the end of 2023. Jake draws on his extensive software development and system integration background in helping drive more intelligent and automated system management for our customers. By leveraging various Artificial Intelligence (AI), programming and automation platforms, this talented developer is helping Epic keep ahead of the curve by innovating smarter solutions that will not only benefit our customers, but also improve our ability to manage them.

Jake brings to the team a broad background of experience in many industries, along with his university and industry certifications. This Murdoch University graduate brings to Epic IT many years of consultation and business analytical experience, having worked alongside senior management, business owners and key decision makers throughout his extensive career before joining our team.

As a man who loves to solve problems, Jake is definitely a “Mr Fix it” when it comes to working on home DIY and automation projects, and of course unwinding by spending quality time with his young family.

Having recently graduated from North Metro TAFE completing a Cert IV and Advanced Diploma in Cyber Security, Joshua briefly worked at a private educational college within the IT department before joining the Epic IT front line team.

Joshua is very active in the cyber security community, as a regular volunteer and participant in AISA (Australian Information Security Association) events. Joshua will continue to build his skills and experience in service desk, projects and cyber security while complementing Epic IT’s cyber security services and offerings.

In his spare time Joshua is a very keen magnet fisherman. While this may sound like an uncommon hobby, he definitely doesn’t “walk alone” supporting his beloved premier league side.

Daniel joined our Managed IT Services team in January 2024. Daniel did not waste any time in making an immediate impact on our busy IT service desk. Instantly receiving high praise from our customers.

Daniel has a diverse background in IT and Creative Media. As a Murdoch University graduate, this talented man brings a wide range of industry skills and experiences to the Epic IT family, as he continues his career progression with us. We were very excited to have him join our Managed IT team.

When Daniel isn’t solving IT problems, he can be often found exercising his creative mind a little differently. By smashing out master pieces on his trusty Wacom tablet.

Shayne joined the team in 2022, having gained many years of experience in various technical support roles. One of Shayne’s greatest assets is her strong attention to detail, along with excellent judgement. With these skills, Shayne is currently working in the role of service administration for Epic IT, helping with service ticket management, dispatch, documentation and end user management.

Between work and busy family life, Shayne still finds time to polish her skills, playing guitar and cooking up a storm in the kitchen. As a bright lady with many talents, Shayne has been an important asset to the team from day one. The team is excited to see her continued success and contributions to our ongoing growth.

Evan joined the Managed IT Services team in Perth, beginning of 2024. As a bright, highly motivated lad, Evan didnt take too long to integrate with the team and have a positive impact.

Evan is currently completing his Diploma in Cyber Security and is already applying his IT knowledge in supporting our growing client base. As a fast learner, Evan is eager to continue developing his IT and cyber security skills with the team.

When Evan is not working he is very passionate in exercising and keeping himself fit. He also loves a good movie and even enjoys providing comprehensive reviews on the latest flick seen.

Aiman brings to Epic IT a highly energetic and passionate approach to IT service delivery. Having joined the frontline service team in 2024, Aiman is rapdily developing his skillset and experience working with our talented Managed IT Services team on frontline IT support. This talented young man has already achieved a degree in Computer Systems and Networking and looking to build on his knowledge working within a fast-paced Managed IT Services Provider like Epic IT.

When not working, Aiman likes to do random activities with his friends, chill out and play some games to relax and unwind, watch the footy or drive into some random part of Perth while blasting heavy tunes on his adventures.

Randall is our design and marketing creative director and as an experienced contractor running his own very successful consultancy firm, we are extremely lucky to be utilising his professional services at Epic IT for well over 10 years now.

Randall’s extreme professionalism and credentials are only exceeded by his “fro” with the talented designer bringing a wide range of skills in design, animation and social networking. Having worked with the likes of the Microsoft, Nike, Target and the ABC TV network, Randall ensures Epic IT is kept on the forefront of online marketing and technologies. When Randall is not creating things, you’ll find him playing guitar for his newborn son, sampling elegant wines or partaking in exquisite cheese tastings in cities most of us cannot pronounce.
